1 Timothy 3:8-10
Likewise must the Deacon be grave, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy or filthy lucre; Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
- The Deacons shall be a servant leader of the church; a co-labor in ministry with the Pastor proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ; providing care for persons; providing leadership in assisting the church to attain its objective; and a motivator for building and maintaining church fellowship.
